“A.C.E.S. Arts IIc - Doula Diane has been instrumental in helping our loved one and family members, as we navigate the complexities of elderly care, grief, and issues of dying. Diane's personalized approach and expertise  truly made a difference for my wife Pat and for our family members.  

Pat was happy to call Diane and let her know, although she no longer needed her services, as her Physician said, Pat was now cancer free, she wanted to know if it was ok to just call every once in a while and chat, Diane had no problem with that in March 2022 and said it was a wonderful birthday present for her (Diane) ”

Unfortunately in May 2022, I had to call Diane and let her know Pat suffered a brain stem stroke at age 83.  Diane said, "Ken, no ONE, including you, can do anything about that now. It is between Pat and her creator,  just put things in God's hands and pray. I did, then my one daughter called and talked with Diane too, she had so much compassion for the both of us and our family members.  We were all in her prayers.

Then, a few days later, I called her and let her know Pat died early in the morning on Mothers day.  Diane said, "How beautiful and appropriate, Pat was a good mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife of 62 years for you".  I just cried for a bit, then Diane said, "Now you get to take care of you.  Talk with the folks at the hospital, and they can put you in touch with grief services."   It is almost two years later and I now enjoy going to the grief support group in our area, sometimes we cry, and most often we have some good laughs and welcome new folks to the group with

open arms.
